Michigan National Guard promotes Patrick Mayabb to Lieutenant Colonel

Tyler Piper, JFHQ Public Affairs LANSING, Mich. -- Patrick Mayabb, the equal opportunity officer for the Michigan National Guard, was promoted to lieutenant colonel on July 28, 2016, at the Reserve Forces Support Center in Lansing, Michigan. In attendance to pin on his new rank was his wife, Lori Mayabb. Mayabb, a veteran of the Iraq war, enlisted into the Missouri Army National Guard in 1988. On May 15, 1994, he commissioned into the Missouri National Guard where he was first assigned as a platoon leader in an engineer company. Prior to becoming the equal opportunity officer, he was the executive officer of the 126th Press Camp Headquarters in Augusta, Michigan. Capture 2 Newly promoted Lt. Col. Additionally, he received his Master's of Business Administration from the University of Michigan
