Non-Medical Counseling: Military OneSource also offers non-medical counseling services online, via telephone, or face to face. Eligible individuals may receive non-medical counseling addressing issues requiring short-term attention, including everyday stressors, deployment and reintegration concerns, parenting, grief and loss, and marital problems.

Financial Counseling: Counseling on financial issues such as basic budgeting, money management, debt consolidation (including coaching to help people contact their creditors and negotiate late fees, interest rates, and affordable payment plans), and assistance with housing issues (being behind on mortgage payments or facing potential foreclosure). The National Foundation for Credit Counseling can also help you develop a debt-management plan at no cost. Should you choose to enter into an arrangement with NFCC to manage a debt-management plan on a long-term basis, a nominal monthly fee may apply.

Spouse Education & Career Opportunities: Do you want a career that you can carry with you the next time you PCS? Whether you are just starting your education, trying to advance in your career, or looking for that next great career opportunity, the Spouse Education and Career Opportunities Program can help you search for information on portable careers, get you started on your education, finalize that perfect resume, or assist you with your career planning.

Wounded Warrior: The Wounded Warrior Program can help you understand benefits, research independent living options, identify counseling, assist with struggles accessing the health care or disability claims and advocacy resources.

Health and Wellness Coaching: Coaching is a wellness-based approach to help motivate you when you have already identified a goal that you are striving toward. Coaching is most effective when you have a goal in mind and are looking for assistance to help you develop motivation and stay accountable as you strive to achieve your long-term vision. Once you have a goal in mind, a health and wellness coach will encourage you in taking steps to achieve your vision. Examples of situations where health and wellness coaching may be the best fit for you: managing weight, exercise plan, 5k, improving nutrition, to provide a little extra motivation to achieve your wellness and fitness goals.
