On Monday, July 27th 2020, General Joseph M. Martin, Vice Chief of Staff of the United States Army, lead the reenlistment ceremony of Michigan National Guardsmen during the Northern Strike 2020 exercise, at the Grayling Maneuver Training Center, in Grayling, Michigan. Guardsmen who received coins include Specialist Raymon Baskerville, Specialist Eshaun Simmons, Specialist Isarel Conerly, Specialist Silvano Caldera, Sergeant James Purvis, Sergeant Johnathan Beerman, and Sergeant Shareef Sasnasopa.
